Yum Yum: a 3D Funhouse January 28-30 2016 @ Patricelli '92 Theater
This project transformed Wesleyan's '92 Theater into a magical and terrifying funhouse, with clowns, ballpits, and a bird who likes to play games. The funhouse is falling apart and almost haunted, so the sounds did the same. To accentuate the creaky nature of the space, my sound design was intentionally glitchy at times and I worked to create spooky atmospheric sounds that drove the story. The small audience was seated very close to the action which allowed for close and immersive speaker placement to draw them in even more. This show included original compositions along with destructions/deconstructions of popular songs.
